Adjust Split Bars

Forms with more than one pane (such as multiview forms), have a split bar between the panes (either vertical or horizontal). Users can move the split bar by dragging it. Use one of these methods to add, remove, or adjust the default position of the split bar.

To add or remove a split bar

1. In Design Mode, select the Form property sheet.
2. Set the Splitter property.

To adjust the default position of the split bar

Method 1

1. In Design Mode, click and drag the split bar to the new position.
2. Save your changes.

Method 2

1. In run mode, on the View menu, click Settings.
2. Select Prompt to Save Form Splitter Position.
3. Close Settings.
4. Drag the split bar to the new location.
5. On the Form menu, click Close and Save Changes.
6. At the prompt, click OK to save the new position as the default setting.
