The On Hand Negative check box allows you to ship an order when its on-hand quantity is negative. When a shipment is processed and has a resulting negative on-hand quantity, the system will use this check box value to determine whether to complete the shipment. If there is a negative on-hand quantity and the check box is cleared, a message displays and the system will not process the shipment. To complete the shipping process, select the check box and click Process.
NOTE: Even if this field is selected on both the
Inventory Parameters form and the Order Shipping form, a shipment
will not be processed that will result in a negative on-hand quantity
if the following conditions are met:
* the item is serial tracked.
* the reserved quantity plus the contained quantity is greater than
zero.
