Use the Chart of Account Allocations form to routinely distribute an expense among more than one account according to percentages you define. Before you can enter those percentages, you must have set up an Allocation Account in the Chart of Accounts. Then any charges you enter to the Allocation Account will trickle down to the accounts you enter on the Chart of Account Allocations form, charging each with the percentage you enter. This process occurs during posting to the General Ledger.
