Multi-Site Chart Copy

The Multi-Site Chart Copy utility allows you to copy chart records from one financial entity or site to another financial entity or site.

Audit trail records are not created when this utility is run.

The following rules apply when copying to a site:

• If the current database type is an entity, the To Site must either report to that entity or must not report to anyone.
• If the current database type is a site, the To Site must not report to anyone.
• Text will be copied over at the same time as account numbers.

There are no such restrictions when copying to a financial entity.

If you are using multiple currencies, the fields Exchange Rate Type and Currency Translation Method will default from the old account settings when creating new Chart of Account records.
