The Payroll Distribution Log Report provides a comparison of the wage distribution and log report hours for the unposted payroll transactions that were entered or generated through the Payroll Processing form.
This report is useful in tracking down discrepancies between the distributed wages and the total pay (regular, overtime and double-time). It can help you to reconcile distributions which do not balance to the log hours. For this reason, the only log hours included on the report are the types which will have corresponding distributions (regular, overtime, and double-time). Because holiday, sick, and vacation hours do not generate matching distributions, their log hours are not included on the report.
You can produce this report for a range of employees who are hourly and/or salaried, and optionally for non-employees.
