Batch Definitions

	Use the Batch Definitions
form to tell the Scheduler how batches should be formed. This form
	 has these tabs:

		- General - Use this
tab to specify the parameters that define how batches are formed.
The separation rule describes what jobs or production schedules
are batched together. The release rule and values describe when
a batch will be released for processing. The release rule can
be overridden, and you can specify a periodic review of that process.
- Operations - This read-only
tab lists the operations associated with this batch definition,
as defined on the Batch Definition
Operations form. The operations are defined on the Batch
		 Definition Operations form.
- Batched Productions
		 - This display-only tab lists any manually created batched productions
(jobs/production schedules) associated with the selected
		 batch definition.
		 The batched productions are defined
		 on the Batched
		 Productions form.
Specify an item for the batch definition, because the operations
require a job internally, and that job requires an item, and it uses
that item in the job table.
When you delete a batch definition, the job created by the batch
definition is also deleted by a trigger.
The exception to this type of batch formation is the manual construction
of batches, or batched production. To define batched productions,
	 click Batched Productions.
