Posting Method

Select either Inter-Entity or Intra-Entity as the posting method to use for multi-site transfer orders.

• Inter-Entity means that transfers occur with revenue, with the From Site making a profit.
• Intra-Entity means that transfers occur at cost.

When posting transfer orders, the system does not consider which financial entity a site reports to; the posting method determines how transfers occur. All financial transactions created by SyteLine flow into Financial Consolidation.
