Late Alert

On the Projects and Project Tasks forms, the system selects the Late Alert check box to indicate when a project that has one or more resources is either projected to be late or are already late. If the project is on schedule, the system clears the check box.

A resource is considered late under the following conditions:

• its projected date is after the due date and the quantity issued for the resource is less than than the resource quantity.
• when the projected date is blank, the resource's current date is on or after the due date and the quantity issued for the resource is less than the resource quantity.

If you are using MRP, the system compares the resource due date to the current date. This check box only indicates whether the resource is already past due. It does not indicate whether the resource is projected to be on schedule.

On the Project Resources form, when this check box is selected, the resource is late or scheduled to be late.
