Creating a Tile Form

To create a tile form:

  1. In WinStudio, go into Design Mode.
  2. From the Form menu, select Definition > New.
  3. In the first page of the wizard, select the Create new form option, and then click Next.
  4. In the next page, complete the following required fields:
  5. Optionally, specify a default Device Type, a Query Form, and any comments.

    Comments are stored with the form definition and do not appear anywhere on the actual form.

  6. Click Next.
  7. In the next page of the wizard (Select Properties), specify the properties of the IDO that are to be used with components in the new form.

  8. Click Next.
  9. In the next page of the wizard (Properties), you can specify:

  10. Click Next.
  11. (Optional) To create a template from the new form, select the Save Template option.
  12. Click Finish.

WinStudio then creates the form and opens a rough draft version in Design Mode.
