The tenant ID is used in all business object documents (BODs) to identify the sender of the document. It is limited to a maximum of 22 characters. This ID is used primarily for transactions on hosted software or "Software as a Service" (SaaS).
On forms that use this value, Mongoose looks first at the Sites/Entities form and uses that value. If no value is specified there, Mongoose looks next at the Intranets form, and uses that value. If no value is specified on either form, Mongoose uses infor as the default value.
