System/User Notes
Use this form to view, add, delete, and modify reusable notes. There
are two kinds of reusable notes:
- System notes, which are available to all users, are defined
in the top part of the form.
- User notes, which are available only to the current user, are
defined in the bottom part of the form.

Accessing the System/User Notes Form
To access the System/User Notes form, perform one of the
following actions:
- To launch the form standalone (not linked to any record), select
View>System Notes.
- To use the form to define or select reusable notes for a specific
record:
- Select the record.
- Use one of these methods to open the Object Notes form:
Select Actions>Notes for Current, or select Notes
for Current from the right-click context menu, or click
the Notes button on the toolbar.
- Click Attach/Detach to open the System/User Notes
form.
- To use the form to define or select reusable notes for all
records in a collection:
- Select a record.
- Use one of these methods to open the Class Notes form:
Select Actions>Notes for All, or select Notes
for All from the right-click context menu.
- Click Attach/Detach to open the System/User Notes
form.
