On this utility, use the records entered on the Maintenance tab of the Service Contracts form to automatically create service orders. As SROs are created, the appropriate lines are set up based on the units under the contract, along with the designated operations.
The form creates specific operations based on the setup on the Service Contract Maintenance Schedules. The form creates an SRO line for each applicable unit. If All Lines From Contract or All Units From Customer is selected on the Service Contract Maintenance Schedules, the system creates multiple lines accordingly. If All Operations From SRO is selected on the Service Contract Maintenance Schedules, any operations from the specified service order or service order template are included on the newly created SRO.
