Prospects

The Prospects form allows you to enter information for a prospective customer. For example, if your company's sales representatives are at a trade show, they can take business cards from clients and enter that information into the system.

After creating a prospect record you can associate it with contacts, assign it to sales leads or opportunities, or generate an estimate order. Once the prospect is approved as a customer, you can convert the record to a customer record without having to re-enter the information.

NOTE: After the prospect record is converted to a customer record, all records that were associated with the prospect are reassigned to the newly created customer. The system then deletes the prospect record.
