Availability Results

This form applies only to APS.
This dialog displays the calculated Projected
date after you click the Get ATP or Get CTP button on certain SyteLine transactions.
This is a realistic date by which your facility can fulfill the demand.
	- If the calculated Projected Date is equal to or earlier than the
current input date (such as the Due Date for an order line or End
	 Date for a job),a check
mark is displayed on this dialog.
- If the Projected Date is later than the current input date, a problem
	 indicator is displayed.
	NOTE:

		- The system performs the calculations using dates and times,
and the Availability Results dialog shows only dates. This can
result in cases where the displayed dates are the same but an
		 X is displayed.
- If the demand is associated with a warehouse in which the Dedicated
Inventory field is selected, you cannot perform the Get ATP/CTP
process. The error message "Availability cannot be checked
for demands from warehouses with dedicated inventory" displays.

Accepting or Rejecting the Projected Date
The Availability Results message gives you these choices:
	- Yes or OK - accepts the calculated
	 Projected date as the input
date the system will use to incrementally
plan this transaction in APS. This button is labeled "OK"
if your user ID is not a member of the "APS - Set Due Date <
Projected" and "APS - Override Projected Date" user groups.
- No - (available only if your
user ID is a member of the "APS - Set Due Date < Projected"
and "APS - Override Projected Date" user groups) saves the
calculated Projected Date in the Projected field for your reference.
The input date, such as the Due Date for a customer order line, remains
unchanged. The APS function will use the input date to plan the demand.
Note that this option effectively overrides the date the system projected.
- Cancel - cancels the ATP/CTP
process (the Due Date remains unchanged). This option is useful if
the Projected Date is unacceptable, and you want to enter a smaller
quantity for the system to try calculating a better projected date.
If you do not have the required authorization levels
mentioned above, you have two choices: OK
 and Cancel.

Detail button to view detailed plan information about the demand you
are planning, including the bottleneck items that may have caused the
projected date to be later than the requested date.

About Blocked Demands
If you perform Get ATP/CTP on a demand that cannot
be planned within the time between the current date and the end of the
 Plan
Horizon (defined on the Planning Parameters form), the Availability
Results dialog displays the message "Cannot be completed within the
current planning horizon." If you receive this message, you can reduce
the quantity, use a later Due Date, or add new resource capacity to allow
 the demand to be planned.
