Receiving a Transfer Order
There are three ways to receive a transfer order.
Manually Receive
	- Open the Transfer
	 Order Receive form.
- Select a transfer order.
- In Filter-in-Place mode, use the remaining header fields to filter
the transfer order line items that will display in the grid.
- After you exit Filter-in-Place, select, in the grid, all line items
	 that you want to receive.
- Edit the quantity received as needed.
- Ensure that the From Location, Freight, Duty, Brokerage, and Local
	 Freight fields are correct.
- To add additional lines, click Add
Lines to open the Add Transfer Ship Line modal form.
- Enter the specifications for the new line, then click Add
	 to return to the Transfer
	 Order Receive form.
- Click Receive to receive the
	 selected transfer order line items.
Use the Transfer Order Receiving List
	- Open the Transfer
	 Order Receiving List Report form.
- Enter the appropriate data in the required fields:

		- Receive for Transfer - Enter
the number of the transfer to be processed.
- Post as of Date - Enter
a date or accept the default current system date.

- Select the Post Material Receipt field. When this field
is selected, the system picks the inventory and post the journal transactions.
However, serial and lot-tracked items are not posted.
- Select the Print button to execute.
Use the Transfer Combined Ship/Receive
This procedure creates the journal entries for both
the shipped and received inventory. See the Combined
Transfer Order Ship/Receive form for more information.
NOTE: To record inventory
that is either lost or damaged in transit, use the Transfer
 Order Loss utility.
