Edit Global Script / Edit Form Script

Use the WinStudio script editor to write and edit global scripts and form scripts.

Field or Button Description

Description field

Describes a compilation error that occurred in a line of code. On the Editor tab, the code containing the error is highlighted.

Directional buttons
|<  =  First
 <  =  Previous
 >  =  Next
>|  =  Last

These buttons are enabled after you compile a script that caused a compilation error.

  • On the Editor tab, the buttons move focus to a line of code that generated a compilation error.
  • On the Compile Errors tab, the buttons move focus to a row in the error grid.

Copy All button

Copies the entire script to the clipboard.

 This button is enabled only when the Editor tab is selected.

Paste All button

Deletes the entire script and pastes the contents of the clipboard into the script editor.

This button is enabled only when the Editor tab is selected.

Debug button

 Use of this button is no longer recommended or necessary.
