Select the resource group to set up for working on this item. The resource group you select must be allocated to this operation (that is, specified as a required resource group on the operation's Resources tab) or must be allocated to a previous operation using the "Hold" Action code; otherwise, an error occurs during scheduling.
The resource that is allocated from this group will be the resource the Scheduler uses to determine the setup time based on the criteria you defined (by item, by setup group, etc.; see Operation Setup Time Overview for more information). All resources required on the operation are allocated for the setup time.
For example, Resource A from Resource Group AA is allocated to Job 2. The Setup Basis is Item. Job 2 uses Item 2 and the last job Resource A worked on was Job 1 (for Item 1). Therefore, the setup time will be the value defined when your sequence is Item 1 to Item 2.
NOTE: If you do not specify a setup resource group, this operation will not incur setup time.
