Job Error Processing

Use the Job Error Processing form to correct job transactions from data collection tables and post them to SyteLine. This form displays all transactions in the Job Transactions file. Error processing is a holding place for transactions prior to being posted. During posting, SyteLine validates the Job transactions and marks invalid transactions with an "Error" status.

Follow these guidelines when setting up transactions:

There must be an end time for all setup, run, indirect, and machine transactions. If you only enter an end transaction for a setup, run, indirect, or machine transaction, SyteLine uses the end time of the previous transaction as the start time of the next transaction.
For machine transactions, you can use transactions prorated with labor or use transactions completely independent of labor. See About Machine Transactions (Data Collection) for more information.
If a transaction does not post to the Unposted Job Transactions form, the transaction status changes to Error. You can use this utility to correct the error before posting the transaction. When you update the transaction, the status is changed to Pending.

The Auto-Post Mfg Labor field on the Data Collection Parameters form determines if SyteLine posts the job transactions automatically. You must correct all transactions with a status of "Error" regardless of whether you select this field. After you correct the error transactions, SyteLine changes the status to "Pending." Then, you can post the pending transactions to SyteLine.

The Co-products tab displays all co-product transactions in the Job Transactions file.
