Job Operations

Use the Job Operations form to view and maintain the detailed information and cost rates for a specific job order and operation. You maintain this information both manually and using a series of functions, including scheduling and job transactions. You can copy the job routing from a variety of sources, such as another job, the current routing, or a production schedule. You can also enter the job routing manually.

Use the Standards tab to maintain or view routing requirements for an item.

Use the Co-products tab change the cost distribution percent allocations for material, labor, and machine for a specific co-product job operation. You cannot change the cost distribution fields when the job status is complete or history.

NOTE: If the ECN Use for Job BOM/Routings inventory parameter is set to All, you cannot add or make changes to job operations.

Actions Menu

The Actions menu includes options to filter the data to show only job operations where the start date is 7, 14 or 30 days in the future, and an option to show only job operations where the start date is any number of days in the past.
