The Engineering Workbench form allows you to create and maintain different types of routing/bills of material from one form. It allows you to create and maintain routing/bills of material by easily adding or removing materials from operations. For example, you can copy an operation or material from a Current BOM in the left pane to a Job BOM in the right pane. NOTE: You cannot edit ECN (revision) tracked items on the Engineering Workbench.
Use the (BOM) View field to select a type of Bill of Material. The first record of that BOM type displays, and the right pane contains applicable fields for that type of BOM. To select a different record of the same type, click the filter button in the toolbar, supply the header field information, and click the filter button again.
